Join the NAWIC Buddy Program – Build Connections, Grow Your Network!
Registrations are now open for the NAWIC QLD Buddy Program, and we’re seeking Senior Buddies and Junior Buddies for the next three month round. The program connects women at the early stages of their construction careers to share knowledge, build confidence, and strengthen our NAWIC community. It’s low pressure, flexible, and designed to fit around busy schedules.
Senior Buddies
Ideal for members with 3+ years of industry experience who can offer guidance on career development, workplace challenges, and pathways. You don’t need to be a leader—just approachable, encouraging, and willing to support another woman in the industry.
Junior Buddies
Are motivated students who are ready to engage, learn, and grow as they transition into the construction industry. To be eligible, students should meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a construction related field of study
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional development, showing curiosity, initiative, a positive, growth focused mindset.
- Show active participation in all components of the program, including attending all workshops and engaging fully in Buddy catch ups.
Please note: Numbers are limited, with a maximum of 25 Buddy pairs for this initial round.
